The main purpose of the pin is positioning, that is, to fix the relative position between two parts (see Figure 2-95a), which is essential for combined processing and assembly. Pins can also be used for shaft-hub connections (see Figure 2-95b), which can transmit modest loads. The pin can also be used as an overload shear element in a safety device (see Figure 2-95c), protecting critical parts in the machine.Application range:amusement park、playground、theme park.

There are many types of pins. Figure 2-96 shows a schematic diagram of 10 types of pins. These pins have been standardized. Among them, cylindrical pins and tapered pins are the most used.
