There are several types of flying carpets theme park ride, such as Arabian flying carpets, high-altitude Moon Surveys (Travel in Space), Hawaiian Waves and Mysterious Seats.
(1) Arabian flying carpet. After the Arabian flying carpet starts, it swings horizontally and repeatedly, and then gradually rises into the air. When it reaches the highest point, it stops instantly, then rotates in the opposite direction to the highest point and stops, and finally does a 360° horizontal spin in the air, accompanied by strong music effect. The flying carpet is high and low, and there is serious overweight and weightlessness, which makes tourists feel thrilling and exciting. Players can feel the feeling of flying in the wind, and its thrilling level is overwhelming.
1) Main structure: The flying carpet is generally composed of swing arm, cockpit, column bracket, power system, platform and operating system.
① Swing arm and cockpit. The swing arm is an important component of the equipment. One end of the swing arm is welded with a counterweight, the other end is connected to the cockpit, and the middle is connected to the bracket through a slewing bearing, as shown in Figure 3-73. The cockpit is to install several rows of seats on a rectangular flat steel structure, and the surrounding of the cockpit is decorated with glass fiber reinforced plastics and checkered plates (Figure 3-74).
② Column bracket. The column bracket is a box-shaped structure made of four welded steel plates. The four columns are parallel to each other, and a worm reducer is installed on the upper and lower ends of each column (Figure 3-75). The upper worm reducer is connected with a pinion (Figure 3-76). The two worm reducers are connected by a transmission shaft. Since the inertia of the cockpit is relatively large during operation, two additional inclined supports are added to each column to fix it.
③ Power system. The power system of amusement park ride is generally connected by a high-power dual-output shaft DC motor with two first-stage worm reducers through the transmission shaft, and the first-stage worm reducer is divided into two directions: the transmission shaft is connected with four second-stage worm reducers (Figure 3). -77); four worm reducers are respectively connected with four three-stage reducers through the transmission shaft, the three-stage reducer is connected with a pinion, the pinion meshes with the large gear, and the large gear is connected with the swing arm through the slewing bearing (Fig. 3-78).Application range:amusement park、playground、theme park.
④The platform. The platform is generally made of angle iron and checkered plate. There are two steps to divide the entrance and exit, and an operating room for the operating system is installed at one end of the platform.
2) Working principle: The working principle of the Arabian flying carpet is that the high-power dual-output shaft DC motor drives two first-stage reducers through the transmission shaft. The primary reducer is divided into two directions. The transmission shaft drives four second-stage reducers, the second-stage reducer drives four third-stage reducers through the transmission shaft, and the third-stage reducer is connected with a pinion, which is controlled by an electrical switch. Four small gears drive four large gears at the same time, the large gears are closely connected with the swing arm, and the four swing arms act synchronously to drive the cockpit to reverberate. Continue to reverberate until it passes the highest point, falls in the opposite direction and reverberates.
3) Safety devices: The safety devices of the Arabian flying carpet include safety pressure bars, seat belts and speed limit devices. The function of the safety bar and seat belt is to fix the tourists safely and reliably on the seat of the equipment. The safety bar (Figure 3-79) is secured to the seat by a latch with a locking device. The safe operation of the Arabian flying carpet is mainly realized by controlling the speed of the DC starter motor through the speed limiting device. Since the driving source of the Arabian flying carpet is a DC motor, in order to prevent the motor from running out of control and over-speeding, it will cause a safety accident. Therefore, a speed limiting device composed of a speed measuring motor and a feedback element is installed in the control system of the equipment. When the motor is overspeed, it will be fed back to the control system in time, and the control system will issue an alarm message and cut off the main circuit of the motor.
(2) The moon from high altitude. The high-altitude moon viewing amusement machine is also known as the invitation to travel in space (Figure 3-80). It is an amusement device that rotates and rotates in a whole circle around the horizontal axis. It has both hydraulic and mechanical transmission structures. Its biggest feature is that the passengers sway back and forth as the equipment starts, and the sense of weightlessness alternates. It is like swim in space.
1) Main structure: The high-altitude moon capture consists of a column, a horizontal axis, a rotating arm, a cockpit, a drive system, a platform and a control system.
① Column. The column is the key component that supports the full weight of the equipment. It is a box-shaped structure welded by steel plates. In order to improve the stability of the equipment, a diagonal strut is installed on the three sides of the column. The middle of the column is to install two worm reducers like an Arabian flying carpet. The middle is connected by a drive shaft. The other is the installation of hydraulic pipes.
②Horizontal axis. The horizontal shaft is made of seamless steel pipe, and both ends are hinged to the rotating arm through flanges. In this way, the horizontal axis and the rotating arm are rigidly connected to ensure the synchronous operation of the two rotating arms, as shown in Figure 3-81.
③ Swivel arm. The rotating arm is a box-shaped structure welded by steel plates. One end is welded with the counterweight, and the other end is connected to the cockpit. A large gear is installed in the middle, and the large gear is connected with the column through the slewing bearing. The hydraulically driven rotating arm is also provided with a reduction box at the end of the cabin, so that the output movement of the hydraulic motor can drive the cabin to run through the reduction box.
④The cockpit. The cockpit is a box-shaped structure welded from steel plates. The two rows of seats are back-to-back, and the seats are made of fiberglass. The seats are equipped with safety pressure bars (shoulder pressure and leg pressure, see Figure 3-82) and safety belts, which firmly fix the tourists on the seats.
⑤ Drive system. There are two types of drive system structures. One is the DC motor drive structure. The output end of the motor drives the first-stage worm reducer, and the worm reducer passes through the transmission shaft and two second-stage worm reducers in two directions. The two-stage reducer drives two three-stage reducers through the transmission shaft. The three-stage reducer is connected with a pinion, the pinion meshes with the large gear, and the large gear is connected with the rotating arm. The other is the hydraulic system drive. Four hydraulic motors are installed at the top of the column, the motors are connected with the pinion gear, the pinion gear is meshed with the large gear, the large gear is connected with the rotating arm, the lower end of the rotating arm is equipped with a hydraulic motor, and the hydraulic motor is connected with the cockpit through a reduction box.
⑥ platform and control system. Since the equipment sits on both sides, the platform surrounds the equipment with an entrance and exit. The control system is generally installed in the control cabinet, and the control cabinet is placed in the operating room.
2) How it works.
The working principle of Lanyue is divided into two types due to different driving forms. One is driven by a DC motor. Its working principle is similar to that of an Arabian flying carpet. Through the universal joint, transmission shaft and worm reducer, the rotating arm is driven to rotate forward and reverse 360°, and at the same time, the cockpit swings back and forth due to the action of inertia and gravity. The other is the hydraulic system drive.
The operation of the swivel arm and the operation of the cockpit are driven by an independent hydraulic system, and the four hydraulic motors at the top of the column drive the swivel arm to operate (Figure 381). , The two hydraulic motors at the lower end of the rotating arm drive the cockpit to run, and the rotation speed of the rotating arm is adjusted through the speed control valve.
The rotation direction of the swivel arm and the cockpit is controlled by the electro-hydraulic reversing valve, and the swivel arm is braked in forward and reverse directions respectively through the two relief valves (because the swivel arm is in the process of rotation, when the cockpit is in the descent, due to the action of gravity It may cause the rotating arm to rotate faster, so that the cockpit slides faster. At this time, due to the braking effect of the overflow valve, the rotating arm can be basically kept at a constant speed).
The speed of the cockpit is controlled by the throttle valve, and the free swing of the cockpit is realized by the electro-hydraulic reversing valve. The fixation of the cockpit is realized by the electromagnetic reversing valve. In addition, there is a solenoid valve that is normally closed. It can be opened when encountering special circumstances, enabling the cockpit to slowly descend back to the ground.
3) Safety device.
Lanyue’s safety devices include safety pressure bars, seat belts and speed limiters. The function of the safety bar and seat belt is to fix the tourists safely and reliably on the seat of the equipment. The safety lever is locked by the ratchet pawl (Figure 3-83). The seat belt is used for secondary protection so that the safety bar is connected to the seat. One of the speed-limiting devices is a device similar to the Arabian flying carpet. The other is realized by the overpressure protection device of the hydraulic system.
(3) Hawaiian waves.
Hawaiian waves are also known as “canyon roaming” and “stormy waves” abroad, as shown in Figure 3-84. It is one of the medium-sized amusement equipment with the most complex operation mode, the most degrees of freedom, the largest moment of inertia and the highest technical content in the world. The two arms of the device operate independently in different directions and at different speeds according to the set program.
The passenger cockpit, which is connected by two heavy-duty universal joints, swings freely under the action of gravity and centrifugal force, making the tourists look like brave sailors. Fighting the wind and waves in the sea, enjoying the feeling of chasing the waves and rolling up and down, it can be described as varied, beautiful and enjoyable.
1) Main structure: Hawaiian Wave consists of upright column, rotating arm, cockpit, drive system, suspension bridge and electrical control operating system.
① Column. The column is a box-shaped structure welded by steel plates, and there are two: one is an upright column (Figure 3-85), and the other is an inclined column (Figure 3-86). There is an inspection platform on the top of the column, and two motors and reducers are installed on the platform.
② Swivel arm. It is a box-shaped structure welded by steel plates. A counterweight is installed at one end, the cockpit is connected at the other end, and a large gear is installed in the middle. The large gear is connected to the column through a slewing bearing. There are two structural forms of the swivel arm. Connected to the upright column is an integral structure, and connected to the inclined column is a structure that is divided into two sections and connected by hinges in the middle, as shown in Figure 3-87.
③The cockpit. The cockpit is two rows of seats in back-to-back form. The seat has a safety pressure bar, and the two ends of the cockpit are connected with two rotating arms through two large universal joints (Figure 3-88), as shown in Figure 3-89.
④ Drive system. The driving system of the family rides is that four motors are connected with the pinion through the reducer, and the pinion meshes with the large gear on the rotating arm, as shown in Figure 3-90.
⑤ Suspension bridge. The suspension bridge is a landscape design that matches the Hawaiian waves, and passengers go up and down through the suspension bridge. The suspension bridge consists of two parts. Part of it is a walkway fixed to the foundation, with railings on both sides.
One part is a movable suspension bridge, one end is suspended and connected to the cockpit, and the other end is connected to the walkway through hinges. Driven by the air cylinder, the suspension bridge will be erected when the equipment is running, and the suspension bridge will be placed horizontally when getting on and off the guests, as shown in Figure 3-91.
⑥ Electrical control operating system.
The electrical control operating system uses the computer to control the operation of the equipment due to the entire equipment. The operation of the motor is controlled by the frequency converter, and the operation is simple. As long as the operation program is selected, the equipment will operate according to the pre-designed operation mode.
2) How it works.
The motor installed at the top of the column drives the pinion to rotate through the reducer, and the pinion meshes with the large gear installed on the rotating arm, driving the large gear and the rotating arm to rotate, and the rotating arm drives the cockpit connected to it through the universal joint to move. The rotation direction and speed of the motors on both sides of the column are controlled by the computer, so that the rotation directions and speeds of the motors on both sides are inconsistent, so that the cockpit moves up and down, and moves forward and back suddenly.
3) Safety device.
Hawaiian wave safety devices include safety pressure bars, speed limiters and suspension bridge limiters. The function of the safety lever is the same as that of the high-altitude moon. The locking of the safety lever is achieved by a rack-shaped device similar to a ratchet pawl, as shown in Figure 3-92. The principle of the speed limiter is similar to that of the Arabian flying carpet. The function of the suspension bridge limit device is that the equipment cannot start when the suspension bridge is not raised to the set position.
(4) Mystery Seat Mystery Seat is an amusement equipment similar to Hawaiian waves, as shown in Figure 3-93, its speed is not as fast as Hawaiian waves, and it is slightly less exciting.
1) Main structure: It consists of a column, a rotating arm, a cockpit, a drive system, a lifting platform and an electrical control operating system.
① Column. The column is a box-shaped structure welded from steel plates. The difference from the Hawaiian waves is that the two columns of the mysterious seat are upright columns, and in order to improve the stability of the equipment, a diagonal strut is installed on the three sides of the column. There is an inspection platform on the top of the column, and two motors and reducers are installed on the platform.
② Swivel arm. The rotating arm is a box-shaped structure welded by steel plates. One end is fitted with a counterweight, and one end is connected to the cockpit. A large gear is installed in the middle, and the large gear is connected with the column through the slewing bearing, as shown in Figure 3-94. The difference with the Hawaiian waves is that both rotating arms are of a monolithic structure.
③The cockpit. The cockpit consists of two-part seats in face-to-face form. The left and right directions are opposite, and the bottoms are inserted together through a box-shaped structure. The seat has safety bar and seat belt, and the cockpit is connected by pins through two mutually perpendicular slewing bearing structures, as shown in Figure 3-95.
Because when the equipment is running, the two rotating arms run in different directions. Therefore, the distance between the lower ends of the two rotating arms varies. Hawaiian waves are achieved by swinging side to side with a hinged swivel arm. The mysterious seat is realized by the pull-out structure of the box beam, as shown in Figure 3-96.
④ Drive system.
The drive system is to install four slewing bearing DC motors on the platform at the top of the column and connect them to the reducer. The reducer drives the pinion, and the pinion meshes with the large gear to drive the rotating arm to swing.
⑤Lifting platform and electrical operating system.
The lifting platform is powered by a hoist and connected by a fixed pulley (Figure 3-97), so that the platforms on both sides can be lifted up and down. The electrical control operating system is to control the speed and direction of the motor through the inverter. When the equipment is running, it sends out instructions to the inverter through the manual lever of the console to realize the operation mode of the equipment.
2) How it works.
The motor installed at the top of the column drives the pinion to rotate through the reducer, and the pinion meshes with the large gear installed on the rotating arm, driving the large gear and the rotating arm to rotate, and the rotating arm drives the cockpit to move. By manually controlling the rotation directions of the motors on both sides of the columns, the rotation directions of the motors on both sides are inconsistent, thus causing the cabin to move up and down, front and back. Due to the different running directions of the rotating arm, the distance between the lower ends of the rotating arm changes, and the cockpits on both sides are close and far, which increases the excitement of the device.
3) Safety device.
The mysterious seat safety devices include safety pressure bars, seat belts, speed limit devices and limit devices for lifting platforms. The function and locking principle of the safety lever are the same as those of the high-altitude moon. The principle of the speed limiter is similar to that of the Arabian flying carpet. The function of the lifting platform limit device is that the lifting platform cannot be started if the lifting platform is not lowered to the set position.
